This business, established over 30 years ago and located in North Lincolnshire, is an independent supplier of hygiene and catering equipment products. Unusually for a business of this size, it has its own brand of cleaning products, manufactured in the UK, with the product range extended via 3rd party suppliers. The catering equipment is all via 3rd party supplier.
Sales are divided around 80% hygiene products and 20% catering products, with the majority of sales being repeat purchases. The business supplies into both the public sector (schools, doctors, dentists etc) and private sector (offices, pubs, clubs, restaurants, food outlets etc). There is no reliance on a single large customer, with the top customer and top 5 customers only responsible for 5% and 15% of annual sales respectively.
The business is run by a husband and wife team, with the assistance of a fulltime office manager, who is very familiar with all aspects of operations and would be keen to remain.
Having established the business over 30 years ago the owner believes it is the right time to retire, and allow a new owner to take things forward, better utilising technology and social media.
